As a Software Engineer working as a Verification Champion for John Deere Crop Care located in Indaiatuba,SP

Main Responsibilities

Use a deep understanding of the software solution being implemented as well as understanding customer needs to ensure software meets those needs;
Work with a global team (EUA, Mexico and India) to establish a holistic verification plan;
Set automation strategy for responsible platforms and work with software development teams and test automation engineer to implement.

Skills You Need

Passion/ability to understand the details of how software is written and implemented ;
Understanding of customers use our software products ;
Experience logically breaking down complex features / problems and clearly create and document a path to resolution ;
Comprehension of test strategy and methods for efficiently verifying software ;
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills ;
Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations ;
Experience working in a team environment with cross-functional teams ;
knowledge troubleshooting;
Proficient in English language ;
Willingness to perform on-vehicle testing at test farm ;
Understanding of Agile development .

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with test automation tools and environments (HIL, SIL) ;
Experience creating production-quality automated test scripts ;
Experience with Python or other similar coding tools ;
Knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operations ;
Writing Unit Tests, Test Driven and Acceptance Test Driven Development ;
Software development experience at John Deere ;
Understanding of John Deere equipment ;
