Responsabilidades
- leading data projects with high autonomy, from requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment to database modeling and data delivery
- designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines, sometimes from scratch, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance
- contributing to the design, documentation, maintenance, monitoring and optimization of our data codebase and tools
- identifying opportunities to improve scalability, performance and reliability across our ETL/ELT platforms
- translating business needs into data products and solutions aligned with Nubank's data platform tools, architecture and long-term strategy
- negotiating and defining data strategies with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions, always aligned with Nubank's data governance principles
- acting as a mentor to team members and contributing to data literacy initiatives across Nubank
Requisitos
- Solid experience in Data Architecture & Design, working in complex and/or large-scale data environments
- Strong ability to write highly optimized SQL queries to solve complex problems and perform data modeling
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining data pipelines from scratch
- Strong programming experience with general-purpose languages (e.g. Python, Scala, R)
- Passion for data and building high-quality data products
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices (documentation, automated tests, clean code, etc.)
- Experience with analytical data architectures and modeling techniques (e.g. Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mart)
- Familiarity with distributed data systems and parallel processing
- Ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (e.g. KPIs, OKRs)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau or similar
- Advanced English (B2+ according to CEFR)
