Are you ready to embark on a mission to forge strategic partnerships that drive profitability and sustainable growth? We are seeking a dynamic Partner Business Manager to join our team at Commvault? As a key player in our ecosystem, you will 'own' and cultivate relationships with nominated partners, elevating Commvault's presence and ensuring the achievement of quarterly revenue targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop solid and strategic relationships within nominated focus partners in Austria as primary area of focus. Focus Partners are Bechtle, Cancom, Anio, NTS and .Additonally the Role requires to cover Hyper-Scalers and GSIs across the Alps Region. Find opportunities to showcase our value, penetrate accounts, and increase market share.
- Cultivate strong relations at all levels within focus partner organizations, personally leading the relationship throughout the sales cycle.
- Evangelize Commvault within defined partner organizations and GSIs, driving engagement at an executive, marketing, and sales level. Initiate, develop, and promote relationships with third parties to broaden the scope of the company's business activity.
- Achieve quarterly focus partner revenue goals outlined in the business plan. Develop and sustain a pipeline for the medium and long term.
- Execute demand generation campaigns to drive 40% partner sourced contribution in pipeline and revenue.
- Create and drive Commvault Community within defined focus partners and GSIs
- Run regular business reviews to understand the status of significant engagements, opportunities, and initiatives within partnerships. Develop positive relationships with peers across the company, emphasizing a common approach.
- Increase brand awareness and mindshare within the focus partner organization, creating sponsors and supporters for the Commvault brand.
- Stay ahead of new technology and its impact on partnership relations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in selling in highly competitive environments (preferably software) through resellers and distributors.
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to secure the best possible terms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and storytelling ability.
- Fluent German language skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of launching marketing initiatives, community-driven activities, and driving growth without relying on strong traditional branding or established partner programs.
- Strong digital-first experience, leveraging online platforms, content, and data-driven approaches to scale reach and influence.
- Self-initiative, self-motivation, and a collaborative approach with a strong team-player mentality.
- Deep understanding of the industry, products, competitors, emerging trends, and evolving marketplaces.
- Proven ability to articulate the company’s value proposition and present solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
- Consistent record of overachieving annual targets and quotas, fuelled by adaptability, resilience, and creative problem-solving.
