About the role
The Market Intelligence team at Nubank aims to become a think tank. Our mission is to combine in-depth research of market dynamics, considering the industry and the main competitors. Our analytical focus is on developing a strategic understanding of business models, and financial results. We do this leveraging on public, internal data and own assumptions to provide insights in markets we operate in (and those that we want to operate in the future). In a constantly evolving and highly competitive financial market, your challenge will be to turn large volumes of data into strategic intelligence. You will be responsible for building the market vision for Nubank, translating trends and the positioning of competitors into actionable insights for leadership and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collection and processing of data from various sources (public and private), ensuring the reliability and integrity of our information base. Conduct in-depth analyses of the competitive dynamics in retail financial services in Brazil, Mexico, and other key geographies. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the main market drivers and trends, helping to shape Nubank’s growth strategy. Collaborate with finance, products, IR, and other teams. Communicate the results of analyses clearly and concisely, preparing executive materials that facilitate decision-making at all levels.
We are looking for a person who has
- Ability to deal with large volumes of data, finding patterns and connecting them to market trends and value drivers.
- Experience in Data Analytics: Practical knowledge of manipulation and data analysis.
- Knowledge with data analysis tools, such as Data Bricks and SQL or Python/R.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges, set priorities, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way and to influence different business partners.
- Proficiency in English.
Our Nu Way of Working
Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
