Summary:
As the Remanufacturing Division’s Latin America Market Access Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and overcoming challenges for Cat Reman products throughout Latin America. Supporting global initiatives, you will act as a subject matter expert on remanufactured trade for stakeholders.
What will you do:
- Manage changes in trade policy across relevant markets and implement solutions which ensure Cat Reman market access.
- Address global customs and invoicing challenges for Cat Reman goods, while navigating country-specific restrictions that affect the movement of remanufactured goods and end-of-life cores.
- Focus on strategic market access initiatives to drive growth, mitigate risk, and strengthen Cat Reman’s competitive position in the region, accelerating business development and leading regional market access initiatives.
What you will have:
- Problem solving and analysis: Ability to analyze and identify root causes ofmarket access issues and suggest actionable solutions based on experience/knowledge in consultation with supervisor. Identify regulatory and other barriers and propose actionable solutions.
- Communication: Communicate professionally in English, Spanish, and Portuguese to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
- Relationship management: Manage relationships with peers and others and respond promptly to requests for clarification and assistance.
- Project and time management: Manage projects with country-specific objectives efficiently and communicate effectively.
- Training and development: Ability to present targeted information knowledgeably in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Pre-advanced English.
- Pre-advanced Spanish.
Top candidates will also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations or Communications.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with business growth goals.
- Ability to proactively identify compliance and legal risks, as well as opportunities.
- Experience in complex problem solving.
Additional Information:
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
