Director, Alternative Payment Methods LAC, Business DevelopmentOverview:
Overview:As the Director of Alternative Payment Methods (APM) in LAC, Business Development, you will be instrumental in executing Mastercard’s strategy across Latin America. You will identify and capitalize on opportunities in emerging payment flows such as RTP networks, digital wallets, and other non-traditional rails. Working closely with the Vice President of APM for LAC, cross-functional teams and country managers, you will help expand Mastercard’s footprint in areas where APMs are transforming the payments landscape.
This role is focused on driving Mastercard’s growth in new flows and customer segments by supporting the development of strategic partnerships and delivering innovative solutions that align with market needs.
Role:
• Partner with local market teams to assess customer needs and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies tailored to regional dynamics.
• Build and nurture relationships with key APM players across Latin America.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Develop business cases and support budget planning for APM initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Services) to deliver innovative solutions.
• Drive execution of strategic roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics and report progress to senior leadership.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records and ensure data integrity.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
